Charlie Ilawan, DDS
With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Charlie Ilawan is passionate about helping patients restore confidence, comfort, and function through high-quality restorative care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry and completed advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the LSU School of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Ilawan is licensed in both Louisiana and California and brings decades of expertise to every patient interaction.
Dr. Ilawan has a special passion for fixed and removable prosthodontics and implant dentistry, with a focus on crown and bridge work, dental implants, dentures, and partials. He enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, functional smiles that improve their quality of life and believes in creating treatment solutions that are both comfortable and long-lasting.
Dedicated to staying connected to the dental community, Dr. Ilawan is an active member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana State Dental Association, and the Northlake Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ilawan enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking. Patients may also be interested to know that he proudly served in the United States Navy—an experience that helped shape his dedication, discipline, and commitment to caring for others.
